Anyone else encountered solution/convergence problems with MRF zones in OF11 simpleFoam?
There is something wrong since you don't see any rotating surfaces inside the MRF zone. I have been running a case which has been very problematic, but then I reverted to OF10 and it runs fine. I'm wondering if anyone else had similar experience. There is definitely some problem with OF11 MRF. Last edited by ufocfd; February 1, 2024 at 16:22. |

you need to have MRFnoSlip in the U file (in OF11), instead of fixedValue (in OF10), otherwise it wont work.
