dear people
i try again DTCHull I worked till now with wigley hull but again I get this message when I open paraFoam ERROR: In C:\ParaView-v5.0.0-source\VTK\IO\Geometry\vtkOpenFOAMReader.cxx, line 6508 vtkOpenFOAMReaderPrivate (0x8da5540): Error reading line 25 of C:\OpenFOAM\17.02\Admin-3.0.x\run\DTCHulltest\0/omega: Unsupported directive includeEtc any idea how to avoid this error Ron |

Dear Ros,
I am busy with DTC Hull tutorial , I wanted change the surface, so i replaced in the turorials/resources/geometry/.. my own vessel. But at moment making partially scrpit of Allrun, to see how is going the mesh, I got the following error opening parafoam: ERROR: In /home/openfoam/OpenFOAM/ParaView-5.0.1/VTK/IO/Geometry/vtkOpenFOAMReader.cxx, line 6497 vtkOpenFOAMReaderPrivate (0xb602a70): Error reading line 25 of /home/raffaele/OpenFOAM/billo/tutorials/multiphase/interFoam/ras/goa/0/pointDisplacement: Unsupported directive includeEtc Basically I got your same problem, did you fix your problem? Hi Raffaele, currently I am trying to replace the DTC HULL with a simpler Wigley hull and then repeat the simulation.
1) DTC hull and Wigley hull are not in the same size, do you have an idea how to scale it to the same scaling of DTC hull? 2) Did you manage to visualize the free surface elevation in paraview? please let me know if you have any hint and my email is zyf277258575@gmail.com.
