Hi All

Is there any rule to define the length of the relaxation zone with respect to the wavelength (in a cnoidal or solitary type of wave)?

The length of the relaxation zone in cnoidal or solitary waves is not strictly defined by a specific rule relative to the wavelength. It depends on factors such as wave amplitude, shape, and medium properties.

Thanks

If wave amplitude is 0.0710 m and shape is solitary, medium is water . How can you determine ?
